I used to work for a company that agreed with you, well at least some clown in management did. Even though it was an Australian company, at least part of the problem was we had an office in Manila, and they speak “American English” which seemed to include the awful date system too. We dealt with a lot of files being issued to clients / received from vendors etc. Because the “official” system used those fucked up dates, everyone ran their own secondary sets of data folders in / out with everything done in ISO dates so you could actually sort it properly.

Can you please make a government internet ID, and connect that to your social media instead?
That way social media companies will know who you really are, and the govt will be able to know what social media accounts are yours. It’s even better that way.

Ha. Better from Labor? When it comes to digital rights they are terrible just like the liberal party.
Labor rubber stamped the libs meta data retention and secret software backdoors legislation.
This one is up there with the 2009 Krudd / Conroy clean feed.

Pipepipe share just gives YouTube.com links. Like this:

Is there tracking in that URL?

It’s been very easy. Although I will say my use case is a 9km urban commute. Any issues I can jump on a train to the local bike shop.
Changing a rear tyre on a split frame in the middle of no where would be beyond me.

7 years and counting. Have never had any maintenance on my belt. The Alfine 11 has had an oil change though.

my guess would be old.reddit disappearing.
The recruiters also like to remove your name and contact details so that the companies they are selling you to can’t bypass the recruiter.

Played UT4 at a few LAN parties circa 2015 - 2018.
Frustrating that they never went back to finish UT4 off after Fortnite BR turned in to a money printer. It felt so close to being ready.

if I tap out words, then they will appear as i hit each letter. if i use swipe, then i get no preview of the word, the word just appears after i lift off and touch another key.
very annoying, cant live without gesture/swipe typing.

I too have mild astigmatism. I used glasses for about 4 years before trying contact lenses. Have been using contacts for 10 years now and i much prefer them.

Probably overkill but I still run an old x86 office PC I picked up cheap in an auction. Currently running Linux mint + Kodi. Really like the Kore phone app to control it.
I wonder if the tasks pane has been added to the new outlook yet. Last time I tried it at work it was no where to be found. I like having my flagged items next to my inbox.

You should have been born to wealthy parents instead of trying to pull your self up by your own boot straps.

Also to be fair, we in Australia are far from being some car free utopia either.
We have heaps of car dependant urban sprawl in our major cities where the vast majority of us live. We are also adding more of this sprawl all the time.
On the plus side most of our state capital cities have got decent heavy rail networks which you can park at stations and ride.

Maybe an attempt to push more people to their app? Then they can harvest more user data which investors value.
I’ve switched to pipepipe for the time being. On fdroid.
Still yet to find anything that comes close to the search brilliance of the winamp media library.
