I wonder if this means that linux in general now has an official native geforce now app, or if it’s somehow restricted to the steam deck.

My windows 11 bricked itself before i even got to the end of the setup process lmao
Yeah that’s true, i guess you don’t really realize how crappy something really is until you go out of your way to try something else.
I legit don’t understand how people are even using windows anymore these days. For the first time in years i did a bare metal install because my dumbass wanted to play gta online, which now has anticheat, so i decided to dualboot. First attempt to install the installer completely shit itself and the screen went black, could not recover from it. Even a full reboot did not resume the install process, so i had to run the install all over again. Now that it’s finally installed i keep having weird issues with my rgb and fan control software randomly deciding to not autostart, and manually starting them does not work, or my fans just start spinning at max speed uncontrollably, and the only way to fix it is to do a reboot. Windows 11 has been out for years now right? It still feels like beta quality software, shit just keeps breaking, and then people have the gall to say windows just works lol.
For this reason i kinda like using pass + pass-otp as my password manager as well. I mean regardless they still need to know my master password of course, but on top of that they most likely won’t even know how to use it since it cli based.

If i had the funds for an oled, it would probably be still worth it to me. I’m personally more concerned about burn-in

The fact that it’s not just using steamOS like lenovo is very interesting to me.

Man, i’m a NixOS user so probably also biased because i got used to the nix language, but legitimately all the parentheses in guix confuse the hell out of me lol

Yeah i’m not a doom player myself but i was surprised about it having so many problems as well, cause generally speaking i always heard people praise their pc ports for being extremely well optimized.

From what i’ve heard the game crashes a lot
Nah you should probably stick it in your ass. Improves code quality drastically.

Sam wasn’t lou, but he was another bridge baby when he was a baby himself, and the memories he was seeing everytime he connected to lou weren’t lou’s memories, but his own. I think what happened is that cliff sensed his son, saw sam with a bb and assumed that that was his bb, not realizing that sam was actually his son, all grown up now, but he finally gets it at the end. (I should probably mark this shit as spoilers at this point but not sure how to do that with lemmy lol)

He came back to life at the end when he connected to him one last time at the incinerator, if i remember correctly.
For me it was a windows 11 update that caused my usb dac to just straight up not work. After finding an article about which update was causing it i could roll that update back and it wasn’t hard to fix, but still, according to the linux haters this stuff never happens on windows lol
Had sound issues on windows too recently but sure lol. I guess linux and windows have more and more feature parity every day :p
I mean… nix has been around for like 20 years at this point lol
Idk man, when i started using linux with PopOS as my first distro 5 years ago, i don’t remember anything not working as it should. It wasn’t until i started using arch that i had to do more things myself, which makes sense cause it’s a diy distro.
